pastor john grussi

Pastor John was born in Guatemala and emigrated with his family to California when he was six. He grew up in the Los Angeles area and came to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ while at Cal State Fullerton.   After graduation from college, he joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ (now CRU) and served in college ministry for eight years during which time he met his wife Karen who was also on staff with CRU. Together they attended the International School of Theology where John graduated with a Master of Divinity (M. Div).  John has been the pastor of Gateway Christian Church since 2001.  John and Karen have been married over thirty years and have two grown children.

Pastor John’s passion is meeting people where they are at in their spiritual journey, listening to their stories and helping them to discover the transforming power of the love of Jesus Christ.
