Sooner or later we all experience events that put is touch with the divine needs of our souls. Death puts us in touch with our need for life beyond the grave. Moral failure puts us in touch with our need for forgiveness. Rejection put us in touch with our need for unconditional love and acceptance. Emptiness put us in touch with our need for purpose and meaning.
The world offers many counterfeit offerings that never bring lasting relief. Many of these offerings often ensnare us in behaviors that leave us broken, hopeless and tormented.
Scripture tells us that God has met our divine needs by sending Son, Jesus Christ. Through His death and resurrection Jesus imparts 'newness of life' to those who believe in Him. Once His life giving Spirit is in us we can begin to align our hearts with His Word so that He can transform our lives.
